Safety Information: The Tunnels area was formed by the collapsing of lava formations into the sea. What caused this collapsing to happen is the intense wave activity against the lava platforms. There fore depending on the sea conditions we may or may not have access to all of the platform areas on the day of the tour. These bad conditions only happen a few times each year.
